A Major UK Life and Pensions Provider
Project: Development of batch printing system
The client required an automated solution for generating (in PDF format) and printing letters and statements for Clients and Independent Financial Advisers.
The application is capable of generating and printing high volumes of documents (over 50,000 + per day) in PDF format and can service real time requests for statements from Internet users.
Our involvement
A consultant from RJP Software technically led a team of the clients employees in the design and development of this application. This was a six month project with several smaller subsequent projects to maintain and enhance the system.

SQL Sever 2005, Multi-threaded C# Windows services, C# Web Services, ASP .Net, Object Oriented Design
Outcome
This application has reliably run for the past two years handling large volumes of annual statements, automatic daily documents runs and servicing Internet requests. The system has reduced large manual document processing tasks lasting several weeks to a matter of hours.
The client is continuing to migrate existing document generation functionality to this system.
